Apothecary Jars

I have a few apothecary jars from Crate and Barrel that a few people have admired, and I like them a bunch, so I'm always on the lookout for more. And I found a few in addition to C&B's.

Save-on-Crafts has a few at good prices, though most are sold out. This shop also ships to an APO (military) address (as does C&B), so that's good if they have what you want.

Finally, there is English Creek Gardens. They don't ship to an APO, but they have a massive selection with typical prices. I will probably be bookmarking them until we're Stateside. I actually read the issue of Domino where they used the tall jar below as a TP holder, and I totally missed it.

Jeff de Boer

My cat sooooo needs this!
I just can't imagine how scratched up I would be trying to put Little Man into his suit of armour, but once in, he would look rockin'.

Vivaterra

I love so many things from this place that make me feel peaceful just looking at them. I few I can even afford and will look into purchasing when I return back to the States.

Maybe it's the placement and number of pears, but this one just feels like home for me. Actually it feels just like my kitchen. Like a painting I have in my kitchen.

Pete Goldlust

These are just crazy. They are carved from actual crayons, you know, crayon-sized crayons. Pete Goldlust's other stuff is cool too, especially the wall art.

I can't wait to break out the Crayolas.

Getting ready for Christmas

I saw these two cuties as showcased at Cake and Pie, and the coveting set in. The elephant is from ditazol and the felty tree from jmday, both over the Etsy and both sold out, so I might need to try my hand at making some of my own.

From ditazol's site:

This little ornament is made from fulled (felted) reclaimed sweater scraps, and glass beads (with a few sterling beads on the loop). Each "branch" of the tree is a 5 pointed star cut from green sweater felt. Each "branch" is separated from the others by a clear glass bead. The whole thing is topped off with a yellow bead (for the star!) and a sterling seed bead loop for hanging.Size is Approx 2 inches at the widest and 2.5 inches tall.

My pal Kira and I are going to make our own felt. From our own sheep's wool. That I have sitting in my garage straight off the sheep. Because we're cool like that.

Welcome!

Borrowing an idea from my sis-in-law and others I've encountered, I'm dedicating this site to things I've seen online that make my pulse rise and my spirit sing. Some things are just stuff I like to look at. Some things are stuff I'd like to purchase. Some things are things I'd like to try my hand at making myself.

Who knows and here it goes.
